He moved as fast as his spindly legs would carry him. Mom had the den situated so close to the border of the tundra and the woodlands that wandering around was pretty easy, honestly. He was extremely young, and mom would surely tan his hide for wandering off, but he wanted to make friends. Teagan was his sister, and while she was great, he wanted friends that were biologically inclined to like him. What he didn't know, was that on this outing, his father was watching him from the shadows. Cadeyrn had stumbled upon Oliza's den one night, and captured their scents, his children. So, for now, he would follow at a safe distance. This boy seemed head strong, that was certain. He shook his head watching his spindly legged child walk around the edges where the tundra met the forest.

Dominus stopped, his mind whirling. Maybe this really wasn't such a grand idea, ya know? He knew mom would be rubbing it in his face later, telling him she told him so, but really, how could he resist? He wanted to know everything! Well, everything came second to knowing about his father, but mom refused to speak on it. He'd press her about it later. So he stopped, a mere two or three yards into the woodland. He saw a fluffy-strange looking animal. Mom would later teach him about them, and tell him that what he saw was a bunny, but for now, he thought it'd be something fun to chase. And off he went. His grey and white body chased the fluffy white animal around the small opening.

And Cadeyrn watched from the shadows of the thick trees, his body blended in better here than anywhere, especially with the sun up high, the shadows in the trees were thick as thieves today. This boy reminded him so much of himself, it was crazy how daring the boy was. He began to chuckle to himself as he heard his child giving small growls at the bunny, who had found itself atop a stump that was too tall for Dominus to leap onto.

Dominus was pissed this thing thought it was so smart to go up high. Well, just you wait you fluffy thing, he thought, as soon as I know how to hunt you'll be the first I go after.
