Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Enderly had told him many stories in their time away from Molodian. While Shadowstorm began to grow and flourish, his smaller body filling out in the way a teenager's could, Enderly had given him bits and pieces of a past that made the boy curious. Apparently his father had loved a few times in his life. A wolf named Naamah and one named Eris. Shadow was entirely curious about the idea of imprinting but from the stories his father had told, he had had more than one, and the first one had left a bad taste in his mouth. Stella, he called her, and crazy at that. After having lived through the murder of his father, Shadow as beginning to understand crazy was a bit more prevalent than he had originally thought.

The weird male kept looking at his scar which made him frown several times. He was nervous because Loki was so much larger than him but he was too curious by half to leave after finding someone that apparently had known his father. No one really wanted to talk about his dad now that he was gone. It felt like a taboo subject and it left him feeling sad often because of it, even if Rurik offered to listen at times. He wanted to be bold, to ask him what he was staring at, but despite all the darkness that Shadow had lived through, he was not that rude and there was still a child in him.

Loki's strangely absent expression makes him all the more nervous and he shifts back and forth on his paws, looking doubtful. His scolding is met with an odd question that makes his ears remain folded back and a look of anger on his face. "My dad wasn't like that around me!" Young, but intelligent enough to know that he didn't know EVERYTHING about Enderly. And from the history he did know, there was likely more females like Loki said. Still, it felt like shredding his memory of Enderly to say such.

Show me proof. The words make his face crumble a bit, a wide-eyed expression that seems haunted to enter his face. Loki was no longer just indifferent, he sounded slightly upset by the accusation of Enderly's death. "I was there when they killed him. My.... br-brother and his... d-daughter killed him," He starts to say, stuttering as he tries to hold back the tears at the memory of his father's death once more, and also stumbling over the last part because he wasn't sure what that made that girl to him. Was he an uncle? It hurt too much to talk about them. "They chased me away but I tried to stop them."

When Loki comments on his unshed tears he lifts his small head, trying not to blink so they wouldn't cascade down. Son?! The tears seem to dry in an instant as Shadow's face becomes open in shock, mouth slack for a moment as he stares at him. He remembers being told of two more brothers. Loki and Silas, though Enderly had always grumbled at the name Silas. "You are my brother?" The word is tinged with doubt and with a bit of fear. The last extra brother he found was crazy and he eyes Loki while taking a few steps back. "No. I've never met him. Dad said he was with you and.... your mom," he trips up, not quite remembering the name of the female. "If you came to kill him, he is already dead," he accuses, because he is quite tired of finding new brothers, and he preapres to bolt if Loki should try something funny.
