Matianak had not been to a place so open. The vastness of it all made for less possibilities for sitting and listening hidden away. It was also why she tended to avoid the Ruieze Fields. However, this place was quite unlike Iromar where her brother had made his foot-hold. This place also didn't stink of stagnant water and decay. The springtime flowers certainly held their own aroma, and it was by far not overpowering.
After her call, the young woman settled to her haunches. She would sit while she waited, tail wrapped about her paws. Matianak would not be so brazen here where she had no hold on any wolf that called this place home. Her pale eyes drifted across the plains, both to observe nearby movement and life, but also to spy whoever deigned to approach her. It was then, in one of those passing looks, that she caught sight of Ripper making his way towards her. This was not the scent of the new leader, but it was intermixed. A relative or long-time friend, either was possible.
Matianak tilted her head slightly, watching the large man approach. She might have paled in comparison in size, but she was quick. Both on foot and with words. A smile creased the light colored female's maw as Ripper spoke with an air of familiarity. Interesting, she noted as she dipped her head ever so slightly to his words. "Would you expect us to be any other way? The white one frequented Glorall for a time. Knowing the one who replaced him is pertinent, especially should he return to the south," she said. It was a bit of speculation, but she spoke of Arturio as though she knew what the former King might think.
The reality didn't matter. She knew the White Knight had an issue with her brother. This information would go to him, but Matianak was admittedly more curious of the Nameless One. A wolf who trusted so few that they didn't even know her name? That was a true enigma, and it fascinated her to no end. "Your..." she paused thoughtfully, analyzing his scent a bit more now that he was closer, "sister. She is something to behold, I am sure." Keep it simple for now, the woman told herself. She needed to get a feel for Ripper before knowing how to proceed.
