Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

At it again, my Eden, in spreading what is my blood. My blood is now starting to become the very veins of life on this earth. Just as it should be. Yet I question Eden’s decisions at times, he ultimately is what I need him to be. The woman he chooses is incapable of words...but perhaps he likes a woman he doesn’t talk back. I smirk at the thought. Sure makes it easy for him, hm? Regardless, it appears this woman may be a bit questionable according to Eden in taking more than one seed last winter.

Not only that, one cannot hear and one cannot speak. I have yet to visit the young ones directly yet. I have kept an eye out over the den from a distance as I do with all of my grandchildren born in this pack. My copper eyes are never too far- as nothing touches what is mine even if they do not know I am there guarding them.

It is about time they see me though. I stride closer to the den, feeling the pop of joints that makes my eyes narrow slightly. I roll my head to pop my neck and roll my right shoulder. It has been bothering me as of yet, and a new constant pop in my neck has got me rather displeased. Aging is a horrid thing, and it appears I am not completely immune to it. I remember watching Heyel starting to age. It is a shame of a thing.

I then approach the den and come to lay a good few feet away from it. I lay upon my belly with my front legs stretched out before me. My head is tall and my form is still held pristine as my copper eyes flecked with blue look into the den. I am quiet for now. I am patient. I have plenty of time, and they will likely come out in time. At their age, it become irresistible to stay in for too long. The dawn had just passed and the sun was risen- it cannot be too much longer.
