Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Obsidian, Ruby, and Lillith- the Demons that haunt me
I will be heard...and so will they

I certainly was not expecting who came to me today. No one comes to me, not often, very few. I assume he is here to see many anyway, and I am curious. When he comes though, I turn my head to see his dark form coming my way. He looks displeased at first and this causes my hackles to raise slightly in response naturally. But then he softens again, and so do my hackles.

I see how he looks down at Obsidian as he speaks to me. Obsidian has his eyes firmly on the other male. He stands tall despite being a pup, with his form forward in a slightly aggressive manner. My muzzle wrinkles as I growl lowly at Obsidian.

”You stop,” I say, nudging him roughly with a paw. I may have moved him slightly but he just goes right back to where he was. He is the most stubborn and hard headed of my children. I direct my attention back to Dirk, my tail starting to wag slightly behind me. Good to see me well? I guess I am well. I now have to take care pups. Have to. No choice. I don’t want to take care of two of them, Ruby and Obsidian, but I have to. Lethe deserves care. She does not invade my mind.

”Yes, yes, yes” I say, not really realizing how much time had actually passed since I had last seen him. It all blended in. Nights. Days. They keep coming. Over and over. I can’t keep track. I just live and go on. On and on and on, but one day to be bones. But not today.

”Dirk, yes, Dirk, this is Dirk, you see, you already know, yes,” I say, my yellow eyes falling quickly to look at Obsidian. Little love is seen in my yellow eyes to him. If anything, it is disgust and fear, but Obsidian did not know any different. He hardly seemed to even care as he continued his red and yellow gaze towards Dirk.

”Obsidian. He came into the world. Still inside, I still hear him, but he is also down there, and Ruby too, yes, but she is off somewhere, I don’t care, and Lethe, yes Lethe, but she is new,” I say as I tilt my head back and forth at Obsidian, my nose wrinkling one last time before looking to Dirk again. ”You do not belong here,” I say bluntly, because someone like Dirk shouldn’t be poisoned by that of Eden.
