Pleased with how she had set things up, Moonfeather took a moment to review her plans for the afternoon. It was a mild day on the slopes of the mountain, not so hot that her prospective students might grow impatient or tired. Glancing to Kutcha, the raven gurgled his approval from the low tree branch he was perched upon. Smiling, Moonfeather looked back over the collection of supplies she and her companion had spent the morning bringing down from her hidden cavern. Perhaps it would have been easier simply to bring those wishing to learn to the glacier cave, but she preferred to keep that place private, only for her and the work that she did.

The shamaness walked the line of plants, looking over each to ensure she'd brought the perfect specimens - those for examples for their future collecting purposes, as well as those that would be used to demonstrate their properties. She'd been able to bring more of some substances than others - some plants just grew too sparsely in Moladion to waste them on practice. But she felt those things that would be used were sufficient for what she wished to teach today.

Circling around the laid out provisions, she moved over towards the tree where Kutcha was perched. The plants were laid out a short distance away, but she wished to speak to whoever might come for the lesson before diving into the thick of it. Overall, the plan was to teach basic first aid - how to clean, treat, and dress a wound. Abrasions and lacerations would be the primary focus, but these same basic principles could be applied to other wound care as well.

Satisfied with her preparatory work, Moonfeather lifted her snout and howled out to the pack, inviting anyone who might wish to learn a little bit about healing to come forth and meet with her. It would be a good opportunity for the pack's fledges to explore healing as a possible path in life, or give new direction to a clan member who had yet to find their passion. When her howl came to an end, a whoosh of air from Kutcha's wings signaled the white-necked raven having come to perch upon her withers.
