Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

In those first few weeks of life there was hardly anything to stimulate the pups. Life was merely a routine series of events ranging from feeding, napping, more feeding, and then usually sleep. Being blind and deaf to the universe made it seem so small in her mind’s eye for the world was hardly more than a dugout hole, that was constantly confined to their little family. She did not even know the day from the night. That sunlight would radiate across the land, the time in which most mortal wolves would roam freely across the terra. And then there was a night, where darkness reigned and it’s Queen Moon would light the pathway for the creatures who crawled out to explore, like her mother. But Macaria hardly left them with Grey Wind, and even if she had the only difference was that when she cried out for sustenance, she could not be fulfilled until mother returned. And after she fed she would doze away once more, whether just for a nap or to sleep away the time until it was time to wake again. There really was hardly a differentiation, so time elapsed slowly but surely. And with it Kiora slowly evolved and changed, her tiny bodice was growing, but more importantly she would soon be introduced to the world at a whole new level.

Kiora was about to see and hear the world as she never had before.

Soft snores escaped her tiny charcoal muzzle and she twitched occasionally tell-tale of the dream occurring behind her lids. A cold nose pushed into her soft abdomen and the little babe woke with a start, her lids splitting wide open. There was only darkness and so Kiora at that moment knew no different from before. Wake up my darlings, all of you. The moon is high in the sky, and our time is drawing near. Her mother’s voice trickled into her ears and she turned her head towards the sound, her cranium tilting ever so slightly. And that’s when she saw it, Macaria’s two lampent rubies staring down at the puddle of pups. Her pupils dilated, shocked by the sudden appearance of light and color, completely lost at what to make of it all. No words or sounds escaped her mouth, she could only stare slightly dumbstruck by the commotion of thoughts that crowded her little mind. She became acutely aware of the feeling of her twitching ears, adjusting the small sounds that were starting to filter in; the soft coo of night owls and the subtle breathing of her siblings at her sides, and the sounds of them as they awoke. She turned her head and looked around her, but everything was a blur of shadowy shapes, for she did not have the blessed night vision of her mother, but everything was becoming more clear the longer she focused.

Just beyond her mother’s figure was a soft ebb of moonlight filtering down into the den. Kiora teetered as she stood to her paws, her pools of liquid amber glued to the entrance. She walked, unsteadily though, towards the light. Barely making it over Macaria’s limbs as she escapaded towards the world she had been so senseless to for these past few weeks. Small huffing breaths escaped her and she puffed towards the entrance, her tiny claws scraping at the packed dirt, trying so very hard to reach the entrance. And she watched, entranced by the dancing moonlight as she inched her way closer. A soft, awestruck sigh breaking through the heavy breaths. Amber orbs watched ceaselessly, unable to focus on any one piece of the earth for more than moment, it was overwhelming to see all of the world lit by the moon’s ambient glow. Soft, small vocals echoed out from her lips,It’s so pretty…
