Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She had a calculating way about her, like she was reading him like a book. Her gaze was intense and full of purpose but past that, he couldn't read her inner thoughts or motivations. She seemed driven; that's for sure. He smirked at her playful suggestion to teaching Triton how to lie. He definitely didn't want his son learning how to be deceitful. He chuckled at the very idea and shook his head. "I doubt he'd ever really get the hang of it. Heart of gold, that one. He can't even seem to tell his own mother she looks pretty when she wakes up in the morning." He smirked at the very idea. Inanna never took it personally. Triton was just too honest for his own good, and he was blunt, even when he didn't need to be. Thor had no idea she might be serious in her ventures to teach Triton how to lie. Why would anyone want to teach that?

She shrugged when he said he didn't know Under, agreeing that he was definitely loyal to Eden. Thor smiled. "That means something, at least." He knew Eden would cherish the wolf's loyalty. She seemed curious of his own reaction as they spoke more, her gaze almost expectant as she watched him. He wasn't nosy by nature but her whole body language was off putting, like there was more just below the surface if only he was willing to look. But it went against his very nature to dig too deep so what then? He was observant to a fault but that didn't mean he spoke of everything he found.

At least she seemed genuinely liking of Triton, saying it would be a disservice to ignore him. Thor had to grin at the idea of someone actively ignoring him. "I doubt he'd let anyone even try to ignore him. He can be quite persistent when he sets his mind to something." She let him know that he wasn't interrupting but only before teasing him that when Eden gave her a mission, it would be different. He chuckled, catching onto the playful gleam in her eyes. "I see. Well, don't let me stand in the way of an important mission. Hopefully I'll have one as well soon enough. Seems we both have our ears trained in the same direction for now."
