This whole shebang was a clusterfuck. That is immediately clear as all of us converge into one spot. Kweku with his somewhat lewd comments, Curiass with his brash words, and then Robichaux with his... whatever the hell she was. This was a freaking group of dynamite that was ready to explode at any minute and I was probably going to be the one to light the fuse. I didn't know anyone from the pack. Mostly I preferred to stay away from the others because solitude is the reason I came here. I could spot a potential companion from a mile away, literally, and then turn to avoid them. So immediately being in the presence of all them has my back up but on top of that, I was a bit upset by Robi bringing his girl thing with him.
I can tell Robichaux is getting upset. I can FEEL it through the damned bond, my own agitation increased tenfold by it. My teeth click as I snap them slightly left and right, body shifting, undulating with the tension while I chew him out. Then my imprint decides to be macho, something due to his fatherly status as he informs me, and I blink in a sort of owl-bright surprise. Curiass laughs, all fun and games, and his words immediately make my ears snap back and my sunflower eyes to sharpen upon him. "Try to put me somewhere. I dare you," I hiss at him, brows slammed together, a look of sheer ferocity on my face.
I am so confused. How do I proceed with this newest installment? I think I'm getting a headache. My eyes turn to the girl, still a bit of my temper there. LOOK AT HER. SHE WASNT MUCH YOUNGER THAN I WAS. WHAT THE EFF WAS GOING ON WITH FATE. I snarl at the ground at Robi's feet, trying to make sense of this mess. I guess he had been stolen and I wasn't in any position to kindly ask 'hey dudes, can we let my imprint and his daughter go?' The air around us is tense with a sort of homicidal air between the two males who are tormenting Robi and his daughter.
I lift my eyes back up to Robi with a glare that literally says 'look what a mess you got yourself into! damnit you oaf!' The big guy shifts towards me and calls me miss. I turn my vitriolic eyes his direction. "Come just a bit closer, big guy, and I'll show you just how upset I can get." Another threat, another dare. "Since he is MY imprint I'll take it from here. No touching his kid." I guess, I internally say, lifting my head in my bossy manner. "Got a problem with that?" Now I glance between the men with tense shoulders and a chip on my shoulder a mile wide.
Whether or not I could, I would go down fighting if they wanted to. My momma didn't raise a coward.
