Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She tilted her head as if she didnt see what the big deal was about Eden being her father. He couldnt believe she wasnt more excited about it. An alpha was a big deal. It made her like a princess or something! She seemed so content in the water but he couldn’t understand how it wasnt freezing cold for her. When he mentioned her father, she shrugged but said she was going to make him proud. He smiled, his tail wagging. “I bet you will! What do you want to be when you grow up?” He wondered if she had any dreams or goals in mind. Maybe he could help her some day.

Her eyes were entrancing to him. How did she get two different colors? The last time he looked, his were both the same color. How boring. Maybe only royal wolves were allowed to have two different colors. It was a theory. She squealed as he batted at her and he snickered, bounding around in the water while she chased him. She was growling but he knew it was in play. He grinned back at her over his shoulder. When he called out that it was cold, she said not too cold, hopping after him the best she could. He moved into the more shallow water, trying to make it a little easier on her. “Is too!” He called back right as she launched at him. His eyes went wide, laughing and yelping in surprise as she landed on his tail, soaking it in the water. A chill went up his spine and he shivered as he darted forward. “Brrr!” He turned, sweeping his paw in the water to splash it toward her with a laugh.
