He wasn't going to spend his days trying to hunt his family down. It wasn't worth it. He needed to survive and that meant finding a pack and food. He may have already done that so that left him steps ahead. Maybe he was just bad for family relations but its not like they were ever close to begin with. His mother always treated him differently than his siblings growing up and the only time he ever met his dad was a fight for survival when his dad decided to try to kill him. If it wasn't for Eclipse jumping in, he probably would have lost that battle. Thankfully he only got a few bruises and scratches from the ordeal but he would never forget in case his father ever came across his path again. He was growing and filling out. He was still in his awkward stages but one day he would be powerful and maybe then he could make his father regret ever attacking him. He didn't even know why. Did he just look so different from his siblings that it meant something was wrong with him and they could see it? He would probably never get those answers. Eclipse had left them to survive and Saros would just deal with it. Hopefully Corona and Prometheus or do the same or perish. He'd hate to run across one of their corpses somewhere in Moladian some day. That might make him feel bad. He did still care about his siblings. After all, they never treated him differently. Prometheus and him were inseparable as pups but as they grew, they distanced themselves. Prometheus went out on his own more until he just didn't come back and Saros knew he would no longer be able to follow around his brother and learn from him. He'd have to be on his own now. Corona was a softer subject. As the only sister with two brothers, Saros considered himself her protector and in a way, he always would. She deserved to be shielded from the dangers of the world. She was innocent and she never treated him any differently either. His siblings saw the way Eclipse treated him but he never got pity from them and that was a godsend. He didn't want it. Maybe it was better this way, with Eclipse leaving. Maybe he just had his two siblings scattered across Moladian. Then they could meet on their own terms, no mother there to make things awkward. Of course he didn't know that day would come sooner rather than later. His head snapped up as someone close by barked. That bark was familiar. His gaze set on the young wolf running over to him and his tail started wagging before he could even think about it. Corona! She barked his name and he grinned in response, bracing himself for the collision he was sure was about to happen. She slid right into him and he chuckled as she started licking his jaw and asking where he'd been. He shrugged as she backed off to let him talk. "Nowhere and everywhere, I guess. I recently followed a wolf to Iromar. I might stay there for a while. Seems they have better food sources than out here. What about you? What have you been up to?" He pricked his ears toward her, eager for her answer. He had to make sure his sister was always safe. "You know, you could come with me to Iromar. That way, I could keep an eye on you." He smirked teasingly, sure she didn't want him shadowing her but at the same time, they were the only things they had left with Eclipse leaving and Prometheus who knows where. Maybe keeping family close wouldn't be such a bad thing.
