Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Zion was asleep comfortably within the den his family shared. Even though they were different, the boy cared for his sisters in only the way a fully capable brother might. Superior yet protective. Besides that, his father ruled Glorall, and his mother was his father's chosen mate. If that wasn't enough to fill the young male's head with some level of superiority, the mere fact he was a pinnacle of health for a nearly 1 year old wolf. Zion was smaller than his litter mates, but it never slowed him.

It was easy enough to pry himself from the bundle of fur that was he and his siblings. No one seemed to stir as he did. Zion padded a few steps away towards the den entrance where he gave paused to his legs a good stretch. A yawn escaped the boy as Eden called into the den. His ears twitched at the sound; his tail waved with a bit of excitement. They were going on some semblance of an adventure.

Zion didn't both to forcibly stir his siblings. The boy darted out of the den. His father was already on the move. He bounded along the depressions caused by Eden's steps before finally coming to a rough halt beside the man. His blue eyes looked up briefly to the pack's Fortitude before looked out over the channel. His tail continued to swish back and forth. So they were going to cross the ice today. That would certainly be interesting enough, but Zion felt certain the island would be more interesting. Shame they had to wait for everyone.
