Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Idrisa
Two – No Love – No Soul – Loner
Seeing her brother alive and well gave the young girl hope that things were going to be okay. She had known he wasn't going to return and she didn't blame him, though she didn't understand why he choose to stay with that horrible wolf who had hurt him. He had made her return to Taviora and there she stayed until, after so many months away, their father had returned. He looked… horrible! Skinny, matted, and covered in blood! Feeling her heart sink into her paws, Idrisa began to fear the worst for her brother. And so, once again, she slipped out when her parents were fast asleep, and set off to find Aspis.

Unlike their father, the girl had no intention of sending the boy home. As if they really had a home. Making her way to Iromar first, she easily found her brother's scent, though it was old, and began to follow it. Several times, she lost it as it took her all over the free lands. Days went by, each one making the girl even more determined to find Aspis. She caught what little food she could and scavenged the rest. Two weeks had come and gone, and still she had yet to find her brother. For a moment, she wondered if her parents were worried. Then, she realized she didn't care. Clearly they did know how to raise pups, only really thinking of themselves, and so Idrisa pushed on.

It was one afternoon on the third week when she finally found him. In the distance, she could see him just sitting there, panting like he had just finished running. For a moment, she stared at him, seeing how much of their mother was in him and comparing it to how much of their father was in her. And yet, the two of them couldn't be further from their parents in every other way. With a snort, she trotted to meet him. Nothing was said as she nuzzled his shoulder fondly and sat down beside him, gazing at the nothingness that expanded before them. The silence stretched on for a long time before she said, without turning to face him. "So, what do we do now?"
