Cuirass' eyes twinkled with humor. The male at least knew how to keep his wits about him and that earned him some respect. There was nothing more dull than a wolf that was too serious and didn't know how to joke right back. The larger male gave him a smirk right back and Cuirass' tail flicked behind him in response. Maybe this conversation would end up being fun, after all. He furrowed his brows thoughtfully at the male's question before shrugging. "Just letting them know that nowhere is safe, not even the mountains. As for meeting them, that would have been possible earlier but they're pesky about slipping through the cracks. Like cockroaches." He shook his head, ears flicking back in disappointment. He had put in a lot of effort, even trying to start up a challenge with fangs and blood and everything, but they escaped anyway. Oh well, he'd just keep trying till he succeeded. He didn't believe in defeat. The male said that he recruited four wolves and at first Cuirass lifted a brow in surprise. When did this happen?

But then the male said they came from the Pharoah and he understood. He meant the alpha's pups. Cuirass actually laughed out loud. He had to hand it to him, the male was good. His ears pricked forward as he nodded. "Yeah, I guess that is important. Only one night of effort involved, but it counts." He made it sound like Cuirass wouldn't want to meet the pups and Cuirass' lips only twitched in humor. He tilted his head. "I may not have any of my own yet but I do have some experience with children. I raised one in Iromar, you know. Found him abandoned and did the right thing, if you call turning him to cannibalism the honorable thing." A soft chuckle fell from his lips when the male called them loud like the alpha he stole. He snorted when he thought of Kalseru and shook his head. "Guess they just get used to listening to their own voice echo in the mountains, makes them feel large and important. Might need some kind of muzzle next time."

He watched as the male stretched himself out on the ground. So it was okay to wake him up from a good nap but now the male was okay to stretch himself out now like it was nap o'clock? Politics. His tail flicked behind him as he took a seat. "So, now that you're all high and mighty, what do I call you? I don't have a name for you or the alpha. Believe me, you don't want me to give you a nickname." His brow lifted in challenge. He could probably think of something good if it came down to it.
