Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Ophiuchus was not really the baby-sitting sort, but he did want to start working towards /something/ at home. He had met one of the newest pups and helped him get into the trees, and unknowingly helped the little trickster to prank a random someone. The pale grey male found himself wandering somewhat aimlessly about the pack for awhile before glimpsing Niyol and Mochimal leaving Taviora.

That was unexpected. Ophi frowned slightly. What on earth were those boys up to? He looked back towards the pack before he gave a sigh. Of course he was going to follow them. A terrible role-model, pack member, et cetera, he would be if he just let them go without keeping an eye on them. So, he quietly followed them. Ophi did his best to keep a reasonable distance so as not to disturb their fun, but keep his line of sight of them. His ears twitched as he picked up bits and pieces of their conversation. Pirates? That was odd. It made a small bit of sense at the mention of a special stone. Stolen? No, that was no good. Ophi frowned. They shouldn't be trying to hunt pirates.

He swung a wide circle around so that it appeared he was approaching them from the front instead of having followed them out of Taviora. Ophi was starting to pick up what the game seemed to be. Perfect. The blue-violet eyed wolf put on as fierce a looking face as he could before leaping from the brush. "You dare take my plunder?!" he growled. Ophi tried to sound menacing, though it was not very becoming of him. He would do his best to entertain their adventure though, and then gently herd them back to home.
