Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

She didn't have to wait long before company found her. She smelled him before anything else and she instantly hated the effects winter had on her. She was hormonal and needy and she hated her weakness, even if it was only for a short season. He smelled amazing and she hadn't even seen him yet. She continued to give him her back, at least a little while longer, fighting like hell for her independence and clear thinking. Her tail thumped the ground and her ear flicked back toward him, maybe hoping he would continue on by and she wouldn't have to try to make conversation. She could appear approachable but that didn't mean he had to bite, right? And yet his scent only grew stronger, not more faint. She inwardly groaned, her eyes closing for a minute as she tried to catch her bearings.

She heard paws coming closer then and her eyes popped open. Oh, no, no, no. Then she heard a bark and knew it was time to acknowledge him. Didn't want to seem totally unapproachable, right? She turned her head finally with a sigh, her gaze narrowing on the male. He was a looker, all right, as amazing as he smelled. Strong and able. She bet he was quite the charmer, too. Her tail flicked behind her as she looked him over, not even trying to hide the fact that she was checking him out. What did it matter? He stopped a few feet away, his voice as smooth as honey and deep, reeking of power. But his words only made her laugh. She shook her head and smirked. "Really? Glowing? That's the best you got?" Her eyes lit up though, letting him know she appreciated the compliment anyway. She was just used to playing hard to get.

But she didn't want to send him packing too soon. She sighed, glancing down for a second before she looked at him again. "Beauty comments aside, you must be new around here. I don't smell a pack on you. I'm Zarah. Got a destination in mind, handsome stranger?" She tilted her head, eying him again. See? She could hand out compliments, too.
