The abandoned den he hid himself in is quiet, a place small enough that surely no large predators could get into. It is a place where he can dream as if absolutely nothing had changed, where he is snuggled up peacefully between his two parents. It was hunger that greedily sought to awake him up from dreams of days gone by, and he awoke slowly as the seconds ticked by, hunger seeming to gnaw at his stomach lining. At first he resisted the wakefulness, until eventually he allowed his eyes to open. He slowly stretched out each of his limbs, knowing that he was merely putting off traipsing into the great unknown, his paws working the earth as he took his first steps out of his den, a scent in the distance catching his attention to the presences of others. Settling off at a lope towards where he presumed the scent was coming from, he lapped at his lips as he wondered if perhaps the others might have something to eat. As the distance lessened a familiar sensation began to surge in his chest, watermelon tourmaline eyes widening slightly. His eyes had always been distinctive where his parents were concerned, a light emerald shade that faded into watermelon pink near the pupils. He began to move with something akin to enthusiasm now, knowing that there was no use in finding something to drag back to that dusty old den. Cobalt paws move him gracefully towards where they thought he absolutely needed to be, the light shed on him beginning to play over his neon bright fur.

Silhouettes begin to peek into existence, and the ultraviolet coated male almost could have jumped for joy. Light and shadows taunt each other over the ground as he makes straight for them, his tourmaline eyes dancing with curiousity the closer he gets. He would make quite the mesmerizing sight indeed, surely one that any outsider would be taken in by. A respectable distance away he did stop from them, and yet as if trying to catch their interests, he swept out a single cobalt paw as if to gesture to them in whole. "And here I thought I was doomed to an eternity of obscurity. I might be used to going on adventures, but I've never been alone for days on end..." Simple curiousity was aglow in his tourmaline eyes, as he wondered if they had all just wandered into each other or had been travelling as a group.

He still did plan to go out and see as much of the world as he could, but that could be placed on the back-burner for now. He was wondering about these strangers, and justifiably so since he has never met them before. He wouldn't admit it to anyone including himself, but their presence to him at the moment was much akin to a comfort blanket. Letting his paw fall back to the earth, he takes a few steps towards them to be more fully in their company. His mother would have scolded him for not asking if he could join them, but Loqi never really gave much thought to those sorts of things. All he knew was that he did want to join in their group, as he was much accustomed to having others by his side.

Even though he did not use the manners his mother attempted to teach him to ask if he could join, his voice and approach were far from rude. His flight had left his soft fur rumpled and rather unkempt looking, though this was admittedly not something the adolescent rainbow cared much about anyways. He is merely happy with finding something close to familiar, something to keep his spirits well and truly bolstered, though he once again, would never had admitted that they had begun to flag in the slightest. As glad as he was to have found them being alone for longer than he was used to still had it's effects, keeping him about as alert as his curiosity would allow. Sometimes he still can't quite believe that the familiar russet fur wouldn't come and try to drag him back home, and sometimes he wishes that he might even so much as catch a glimpse of the familiar faces he had grown up around. His face is tri-speckled in colors, something that made him quite distinctive back home. Burning bright icterine was splattered over and around the other colors, a deep and lovely scarlet, and a blooming pink.
