He watched her with interest as she looked around, seemingly unable to find him. Did she not hear him? He was beginning to think not. Her ears barely moved, her head doing most of the motion as she looked from side to side. So she certainly wasn't blind....his tail thumped the rocks as he lounged on the cliff above her. He was thinking about tossing a rock down to her from his perch just to help her out a little when she suddenly caught sight of him or something from down there and looked up. The change in her was instant, making his own ears prick forward and his tail give another welcoming thump on the rocks. She bared her teeth and pinned her ears at him, a menacing force to be reckoned with. Loki hadn't come across anyone so hostile as this before in Moladian. Interesting. When she didn't speak, he tilted his head, continuing to watch her. Would she watch his lips? He could definitely tell she wasn't blind cause she was looking right at him but she had yet to give him any signs that she could hear. He didn't want to assume, though. She could be tricking him into thinking her handicapped or something. He wouldn't put it past her. It'd be something he would think of, after all. Then she barked at him, a clear warning, but still no words. His ears flicked back and forth as he thought on what his next step should be. Obviously he wasn't going to just get up and walk away from this. He had yet to come across a creature such as her. He had to learn from someone so why not someone who shows all their feelings through actions rather than words? This could be a blessing in disguise, if he didn't get his face eaten off in the meantime, of course. He was aware of the season cause his body was tingling at the sight of such a strong healthy specimen. The feisty ones always got his attention more than the submissive types. His last mating was definitely an independent girl. It didn't save her life in the end, but it was fun while it lasted. Deciding this would be better one on one, he got up and stretched, taking his sweet time doing so, knowing that she was watching him the whole time, before he found a small staircase-like pathway of rocks working its way down to her. He walked calmly toward it and maneuevered his way from rock to rock till he reached the bottom, never taking his gaze off of her the whole time. His features were neutral, absent of anything save curiosity as he stopped a few feet away, tilting his head to gauge her body language. She certainly wasn't welcoming but that never stopped him before. His lips tugged back in humor as he turned his body at an angle toward her.
