The male seemed surprised at her approach but she couldn't say she blamed him. He was probably only expecting wolves from his own pack to come for training but here she was, offering him an even greater opportunity! She felt quite accomplished in coming up the mountain just to seek training on being a warrior but he seemed less happy about the prospect. He dipped his head before confirming that he was Navarre. She inhaled, putting his scent to memory because if he was going to be her trainer here, she needed to be able to find him and thanks to her parents, she was quite the accomplished tracker. But her face sobered as he went on, saying he needed clarification before he gave training to a member of another pack. She could understand his hesitancy. It seemed he wasn't told that she would be coming. None the less, she wasn't about to go back to Zelda empty pawed when she was aiming for a high rank in Taviora. She was determined and persistant, her face thoughtful for a moment.

When he asked who she spoke with, she smiled. "My alpha, Zelda. She wanted me to come here for training and first I was to meet with Arthfael but he got busy so she told me to seek out you instead." He gave a smile and told her he would give her some advice. Her ears pricked forward attentively as he said that she should start covering her scent so others do not know where she is from. She smirked, figuring that was pretty relevant to this situation so she nodded, her tail wagging. It made her think of Zelda's advice about keeping her imprint secret and safe. She wouldn't want others will bad intentions to know where she was from and follow her to get to him. That just wouldn't do. She beamed at him. "Thank you Navarre. I will definitely start doing that. As for the training, should we call for your alpha to get the clarification you need or should I wait on the borders and talk to them myself? I understand your situation and I don't want to compromise your position here but I also cannot go back to my alpha with no training. I will make the effort with whatever you think is best to make this possible." She offered a hopeful smile.

There, that wasn't demanding or anything, right? She was trying to be polite as her parents had taught her while affirming that she wasn't satisfied with just going back home to wait for another time. She had already made the effort to be here as Zelda had requested so she didn't mind making more effort to show that she was willing to put in the work to get what her alpha deserved.
