Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He knew that his heart may ache for a long time but at least his soul was keeping him whole for the time being, all because of Talien. He didn't know how he got so lucky to have her as his other half but she was truly a God send, especially now. He needed the distraction and she was perfect. She made him smile and even made him laugh a little and even Triton hadn't been able to make him do that since she left. When he talked about the deer leaving presents and how he liked presents, she lifted a brow and gave a smirk that made his tail wag a little faster. Then she said their presents would be far less entertaining than what she could come up with. He chuckled, lifting a brow. "Sounds like you just volunteered to bring me a present sometime, just to prove your point." He smirked. "Don't worry, I won't rush you on it."

She seemed to already have something in mind, the way she grinned and seemed to be lost in her own thoughts right after. She even chuckled, really making him curious of whatever it was she was thinking. But then she narrowed her eyes at him and wagged her tail, apparently not happy about him calling her fluffy. She accused him of calling her fat and he was quick to shake his head vigorously, eyes widening. "Oh no, I would never think to call you that. I was only talking about your thick fur, of course." His lips twitched, one brow lifting as she laughed and started to eat another crab. He watched with amusement as she broke the shell this time and started to eat the meat. Only once he was satisfied she was getting the hang of it did he break into his own crab and start eating the meat. She even tried getting the meat out of the claws and legs but Thor knew that was a far more difficult challenge.

She gave up after a minute and pushed them toward him and he smirked before doing the rest of the work of getting the meat out. He nudged half the earnings back to her before eating his half, giving her a look that clearly said "it was still your crab so you should eat some." As he finished up eating, he noticed that she was looking around and he lifted his head, following her gaze. It was a bitter sweet thought of all the memories he and Inanna shared in this den. So much joy and laughter, so much love. But he knew he'd have to move on and he couldn't keep holding onto these things. Just a little while longer. He sighed and turned back to Talien, asking about her plans for the day. In response, she gave him a playful smile and said he couldn't get rid of her, that she'd cleared her schedule so she could bug him all day. He chuckled and rolled his eyes teasingly. "Lucky me."

But it was clear from the twinkle in his eyes that he didn't mind at all. She said Triton might need a break from him and he snorted. "It's him that's doing the coddling. I keep telling him to go out and explore and he keeps coming up with excuses to stay." Then she asked what he was doing today and mentioned swimming. He could see she wasn't looking forward to that idea at all with the way her whole body shuddered. Smirking, he stpped closer. "Well actually....naw, I guess it's too cold for that." He chuckled before continuing. "So let's see, we could chase seagulls on the shore while teasing them with food or venture out into the free lands and see what trouble we could get up to." He shrugged lightly, wondering what she would want to do.
