Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Andreania had tried to hide the expressions toward the turkey but she was helpless to the fact that she was hungry. It looked so tempting but it was not hers to have. It belonged to Ramos and no other. She'd have been a fool and Rae knew it. She shook her head a little as she heard him speak again. Attention shifted; focusing on him again now. Compared to him, of course she was small. She knew this better than anyone. Rae was on the smaller side of females and this was how she'd come to being on her own. One mistake and they'd shoved her away like a ragdoll. She'd been lucky though. There were wolves whom had fallen upon that pack's paws and little they could have done about it. Some had tried and failed harder than anything.

Not her though. She'd been cast aside and Rae had run. "It's different when you have a pack behind you." She paused a moment here before her eyes met his again. "Someone to curl up in the cool hours of night with." Something she didn't have anymore. Family. That was gone now. She felt herself thing about it in disgust for how she'd reacted. Foolish. Stupid. There is mention then of them having stumbled upon one another in the dark wood that evening. There was sympathy in his voice as he spoke again.

"Perhaps it is." She murmurs and her voice is quiet. It is soft spoken but firm. She is no stranger to the danger here, but he doesn't seem a threat. He was large this was true, but had he wanted to hurt her, he could have. He'd chosen not that side of the path though. Not this time anyway. It is a chuckle then that caught her attetion and she realizes she'd cast her gaze on his turkey once again. Shame washed over her face then but only briefly. He'd picked that tom up again then and trod toward her. He had only stopped a few steps away before dropping the bird and speaking. She would shake her body briefly to rid the chill again. Well, attempt to anyway. She stands as he moves backward a few paces. He'd settled on his haunches as she moved foward then those few steps to the old turkey. It was plump and that crimson smell burned into her senses with such delight.

Andreania's nostrils would flare then as she watches him a moment or two more. There was only invitation and she needn't be told twice. Her muzzle sunk low toward the turkey before ripping into those feathers and skin. The metallic taste of the blood washed over her tongue and along her throat as she snapped back a piece of the turkey and would fall to her own haunches. Oh it was good. It tasted of paradise. She had almost forgotten what a real meal tasted of.

"Thank you." Her voice is clear and crisp, but it is soft. There is sincerity there however. She meant it.
