The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

✤Cant stop these feet from sinking✤

Her and her sister decided to wake up early and run from their so called betrothed, but little did he know that he was instead going to be with new toy. Even though their papa said that he was to love them forever, the twins didn’t really understand what that meant. Nuk was hot on her heels while she was running towards the pack they once called home. Other wolves often wonder if they have trouble running or doing normal wolf things since they are each blind in one eye, the only thing that is hard for the girls is seeing if someone is coming from the side they are blind on, which is usually why they run next to each other to avoid that kind of problem.

Nuk brushed against her sisters coat and Kal looked over to her sister. ”I hope he hasn’t grown to find us strange sister….” When the girls were alone, they didn’t talk as one wolf, instead they spoke individually and often had their own tone and personality to their speech. On top of them having mental issues that they tried to hide as much as possible except to their father, they also couldn’t explain how or why they always knew what the other was going to say.

”Nuk, I don’t think that’s really going to matter much you know? Father put this together which means that he will have to be with us for some time. If he breaks the contract between the two alpha’s who knows what will happen to him.” She said calmly, but her heart was anything but. She hid it deep down, but it depressed her that her mother abandoned her and her father was nowhere to be found. Siku had found them on the border of Graes and took them in to be his own children. Olya treated them kindly and it felt like a family, but Kallik wanted more than just an adoptive family, she wanted a family of her own flesh and blood.

”But Kally, I really want him to like us. I know we like to be tricksters and tease, but… maybe we’ll push him away if we keep this up? Who knows if he will even follow us to Graes. We have to be there since we are Heirs, but he doesn’t even have to show up!” She said through pants as they continued to run. Nukillik was correct, Kab didn’t have to show up. He didn’t have to even care about them. If that alpha with bird feathers for brains ever showed up she’d tell her father to lie and say Kab made it. He shouldn’t be forced to spend his life with two girls off their rockers.

She tried to clear her mind, but it was hard when all she could think of was those facts that they may never truly be good enough for someone to fully love them. A single tear ran down her check from her good eye, but she shook her head quickly so that Nuk couldn’t see it.

Her ears however perked up as the sound of her father’s howl echo’d around them. Lifting their heads as they ran, the twins returned his call. ”Don’t worry papa, were coming!” Was what their howls meant back to him. Their run became a sprint as they launched over the rocks that line the field of stone once you’ve left the forest near Graes, their soft pads knew just were to step as they knew this land like the back of each other’s ear. It was their home, their passion, their safety.

The twins ran until they saw the meeting rock that was still gigantic to them, but a little less gigantic since they were no longer little pups. It was getting closer to their birthing day and they would be adults, full grown, sassy, super hot In their own way she wolves that wouldn’t take no for an answer. They looked at one another and sat down before looking up at their father. He was definitely a brute and handsome in his own way. With winter ending and the spring type breezes blowing in, his crown of antlers made their way back atop his head. He was truly a king with that crown, a crown of horns that must weigh so much, but to him, the weight up his pack’s needs, his family's needs was heavier than these horns he acquired.
