Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Test My Will, Test My Heart

The femme had not expected to end her night in a fight…but this was what it had come to thanks to the Vampire before her. She knew when she called to Zawyne that it was getting dark, but she did not think that any of the night creatures would be stupid enough to travel around so close to a pack filled with Tempests. It seemed that she had been wrong though. She hated fighting, always had. And the last battle she had went through seemed like not too long ago. Ever since this magic had come to the forest the fighting had increased, and she hated it. But it also brought the Arcus Irae to them, which she was incredibly grateful for. She had no idea how much she had needed Zawyne and the others in her life. But it was time to focus on the task at hand, and after yelling to the Rainbow for her to get to safety…blood began to shed.

Without another moments hesitation, she leapt at him. He had been distracted enough after biting Zawyne that she successfully knocked him away from her. A growl escaped from her throat as she quickly readjusted herself to attack him quickly once more, hoping to do enough damage to disable him before he realized what had happened. Aiming for his limb, she lunged. He was quicker to recover than she had anticipated, and he managed to leap away from her so she didn’t get the full hit she wanted. But she felt her teeth catch some part of him, and some blood was shed. Though it was not as successful as she had hoped, at least it was something. Once more, Adara was surprised by the speed of the Vampire. Just as quickly as he had leapt from her, he was making his own attack. She tried to move away, but was too slow and she felt the pain of his move as his teeth sunk into her abdomen. A cry of pain escaped her throat as she felt him pierce into her. She did not begin to bleed profusely from his bite, but she knew something was seriously wrong from the level of pain she felt. Had it been a normal wolf the blow may not have been that deep, but with his elongated canines surely he had hit some vital organs. But she would worry about that later. The Tempest quickly pulled her self away from the beast, and she was thankful that she did as she felt his teeth graze at her leg. If Adara had stayed where she was, he surely would have tore through her femoral artery, which would have been a very quick death sentence. But instead he just caught the first few layers of skin and muscle, her leg bleeding but okay. It would be sore, but it would not kill her.

With fresh anger and pain coursing through her, the femme made her next move. She couldn’t put as much weight down on her left hind limb where the male had bitten her, but she tried not to let it slow her down. Adara went to make the same move as before, lunging for the limb she had not yet injured, but hoping to fake him out, she attempted to slide around him and aim for his side, whether it be thorax or abdomen. Her fangs were not as long as his, but they could still grasp muscle and rip it away. If her teeth were to make contact, she would try to sink them in as deep as possible and quickly pull away in a jerking motion to hopefully deepen the wound. Spinning on her paws so she was parallel to him after her first attack, she made another lunge, but for his throat area, hoping to get a more fatal blow to his jugular or carotid. She knew that she had to be quick if she wanted any success with beating him. He was not as strong as her, but he was faster. And she could not let his speed win. Her larger and more muscular form she hoped would allow her to be the victor by strength. For she had never been a great fighter, but her body was built for it. And she just had to hope that that was enough.
