Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

That beauty is a puzzle

He might not want to be with his mother and he might think she wasn't a fit parent, but that is all the bad he would say about her. She did play with him a lot and she was kind. He would never talk to her like his brother Cullen did. "She is a whiny whore." He told Augustine the day Cherish escaped and he stayed behind. He said nothing to avoid an argument, but he did not agree their dam was all bad. Cullen was nasty when it came to mares. His thoughts lingered on his brother for a moment longer until the ascent caught his attention followed by a nicker.

His head turns to see Ernesto. A smile immediately replaces his disgruntled look. Ernesto was getting closer so Augustine straightens himself up to look presentable for his padre. He spies the similarities between himself and his sire. He sees them, but he can't help but think his dam still dominates some of his looks. The only difference was the Lustiano shape he had. Ernesto speaks and he greets him by extending his muzzle. He works to exchange scents with his sire before he answers his question. He pulls back as he begins to answer his sire.

"I made the choice to stay." At first, he thought it was a game that mother always told him to run whenever she saw Ernesto. It got old quickly when she never allowed him to catch up. He felt he was deprived of his sire, but he would make up for lost time now. "I want to learn the way of the world from my padre and those of the Lagoon. My madre did not seem fit enough to raise a son like me." He tries to raise his skull to almost seem confident in his words. "Will you teach me?" The question was the most important thing he had ever asked anyone. This was the start to his chapter of stallionhood.
