Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

The cursory glance over his should was all it took to spot Menkhet. He was more surprised at the fact that someone had followed him from Spirane. Not only had someone followed him, it was his pack's own Amunet, or something like that. Balor forgot exactly the term she had used at the gathering. The dark coated youth flashed a grin at the girl. His marbled gaze shifted towards Diveen briefly once more at her question. "It smells... different. Gotten close enough to most of the other packs that the scent here is different. Very masculine, unlike anywhere else I've investigated," he answered before he whirled about to face her.

The grin still lingered on Balor's maw as she continued to speak in regard to his mention of a snack. "It would have been just a snack. Maybe his leg or something," he said. It was half a joke, but it also led right into the statement that followed. "Never anything fresh like I get with deer or anything, but a nibble here and there," Balor added, almost in a teasing tone. It did make him wonder what she knew about many of their packmate's eating habits. His own mother was no cannibal, but held those who chose to eat wolf flesh in high regard. Apparently his unknown father was one such beast, and Balor knew for certain that Cuirass was as well. He would not be surprised if their own Pharaoh was, all things considered.

The young male took a few steps forward to close the gap somewhat between the two of them, but still leave a bit of space as he crouched as though he were prepared to pounce, but not just yet. "What about you, hm?" he said with an equal amount of curiosity. Perhaps maybe they could sneak into Diveen find someone unsuspecting hiding or running from the storm for a far more filling snack.
