Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

bring on the adventure

She seemed to think on his words for a minute before saying that she was pretty sure she could at least keep someone from dying. His eyes widened at the thought. "Well, I certainly hope so! A pup dying, that would be a tragedy!" He shook his head as if he could make the images disappear from his thoughts by doing so. Then she added that she was more about preventing injuries, like keeping him from falling off a waterfall. He snorted. "Well, I don't plan on falling off any waterfalls any time soon, but I do trip on rocks pretty frequently." He was successfully distracted when she mentioned a pack that used to be here, though. He liked the name of the pack, Paracon. It sounded mysterious and strong. When he asked about it, she told him that the leader was friends with the Angel King of Trenus.

His eyes widened again. "So they were like best friends?! That's so cool! Do you think they ever fought? Like, before they were friends?" She went on to say that the pack would be in danger from the friendship and he tilted his head in question, ears flicking back. "Targeted? Did a lot of wolves not like the Angel pack?" He thought they were a huge family and that they were pretty well liked in Moladian. Of course, he didn't know a whole lot about them, but he didn't remember ever hearing anything bad. When he ran over to the tree, he called her over and she bounded over to check it out. She seemed excited too which only made him more excited. He'd found something! She told him that you could tell it'd been through a lot and he smiled proudly and nodded.

"I bet there's a lot of history in this stump." She told him that Paracon was a ravine pack and that a river must have run through it into what's now Iromar. He followed Yuki's gaze as she looked toward the swamp pack, seemingly deep in thought. Then she said they should head further south and he nodded in agreement, bounding in that direction. "Alright, let's go!" His tail waved behind him as he loped ahead, looking for something else of interest, though he flicked an ear back and slowed when he heard her questions. "Hmm, mountains should be hard to create out of nothing so I'd like to think they were there before, just maybe shaped different. Surely there was a mountain pack before, right?" He tilted his head, as if thinking about it.
