Rayna was a happy filly, though she missed her siblings that were with their mother. She knew her father would win them back soon. She had over heard his conversation with that other stallion and she was scared. Her father didn't want to give any of them to rougaru. But what other choice did her father have? Not much while living on this island. Would her father give her? She knew she was her fathers heir but would that stop him from sending her to rougaru to sate his hunger for fillies or mares of her fathers? Why had they moved from the safety of the desert? She was too young to understand her dads reasonings but it didn't seem like a good idea to her that they had moved here.
