*~My Next Collison Course~* BLOCK

He found himself swimming back over to the Common, wondering what he'd run into this time. Last time he met a young colt who needed some reassurance about his new sibling. Who knew who he'd get to meet this time? He had barely made it up on the shores and shook off the water when he heard the most beautiful sound he'd ever heard. It was like a humming noise but softer. He found himself drawn to it. His ears pricked as he trotted further into the Common, his head snapping around as he tried to place the sound. His tail was up like a flag as he trotted around, searching. That's when he saw the mare. She was beautiful with her champagne coat and gracefully dished face. He found himself wandering toward her, wondering what her name was, where she was going, what were her dreams?

That's when he saw the other stallion going toward her. He paused, letting out a sigh as he watched the other male approach her. He was probably a charmer. But his head jerked up and his ears flipped back in distaste as the stallion went right up to her and nipped at her shoulder like she was already his to own and touch. Something inside him boiled at the very idea. His tail swished against his flanks as he listened to the stallion give his name as Liland and tell her that she had a new home. So, this is what claiming was all about? He didn't like it one bit. His nostrils flared and he let out a rattling snort before he trotted forward, arching his neck and raising his head in defiance. He knew as a Lagoon member, he was able to block some claims. He didn't know what it was about her, but he didn't want her to be forced to go anywhere.

He stopped by the mare, though giving her space so she didn't feel crowded. Dipping his head first to her, he gave a soft smile before his gaze turned harder as it found the stallion. "I don't know who you think you are, but she doesn't have to go with you if she doesn't want to." Snorting again, he looked the stallion up and down in disapproval before turning back to her. "Greetings, miss. I am Collision of the Lagoon. I am here to give you the choice of your new home instead of telling you." He gave another narrowed look to Liland before it softened as he looked back at her. "You are free to go where you please, whether it be with this stallion or somewhere else altogether." He couldn't find it in himself to ask her to go with him to the Lagoon. Though he wouldn't mind the company, he didn't want her to feel like a prisoner amongst stallions. She deserved so much better than that.
