He didn't know what to think, or even what to say. Rougaru had called for him and now he had to leave Paradise. The real confusing part was that Xiomara, the mare he had invited back from the Common, had been the one to offer an exchange, giving Rougaru another stallion for him. Why does she want you, though? She already knows what a pansy you are. Surely the other stallion is worth ten of you. Angel gritted his teeth and shook his head. Well, of course she would know that. So why? Plus there was the worst matter of all. Now he had to leave Solaris and Galexia. Sure, they had their recent fights and all, but he still cared about Solaris and he loved his daughter more than anything. He didn't want to leave them. Rougaru had told him he was welcome to visit as long as Xiomara was okay with it. Would she be, though? It's an excuse to get rid of you so why not? It's Solaris and Galexia I would worry about. They proably are glad to be rid of you, too. He swished his tail in agitation as he paced. He knew what he needed to do . He needed to tell Solaris, to say good bye to his family, at least for now. He would be sure to ask Xiomara first thing about visiting. He couldn't just stay away and let Galexia grow up without him. So finally he tore off across Paradise, head up and tail waving like a banner as he headed for the last spot he saw Solaris. When he caught sight of her, he let out a whinny to let her know he was coming and that it wasn't just a social call. She might still be mad at him, after all. He slowed up as he got closer, reaching out his muzzle and hoping for a peaceful encounter before he sighed and scowled to show his discomfort. He pawed at the ground impatiently as he tried to think of what he wanted to say. "I...have to leave." He looked up, studying Solaris' features for a moment before he continued. "There was an exchange between Paradise and the Inlet. Another stallion for me. Rougaru says I have to go." He continued to watch her carefully before his gaze set in determination. "It's not goodbye for good, though. I will ask to visit. To see you and Galexia. That is, if you want to see me..." His voice trailed off in uncertainty, ears flicking back as he waited to see what she would say.
