She found herself wandering the shorelines of Paradise. She was miserable. The time had to be getting close cause she felt like she was about to pop. Is this how it was to be pregnant every time? Someone should have warned her. This was her first foal and it sucked. She was still looking forward to the whole "after" though. After meeting foals like Rayna, it made her look forward to having that relationship with her own blood. Whether a son or a daughter, she wanted them to never have a doubt that she cared. Even though her own mother didn't coddle her, Monster never doubted that her mother would do anything for her. Her own child would feel the same. She needed to find someone to talk to, someone who had some experience with this sort of thing. Her first thoughts went to Zjeena. She heard the cream mare was back but she'd had yet to see her face to face. Now was the time to remedy that. The grullo paint mare tossed her head in irritation. It was so much easier when she could gallop across the island and bugle for all to hear. Now, the most she could do was waddle and she hated it. She loved the reason behind it, but couldn't she be a little more graceful while pregnant? This was downright ridiculous. And to make matters worse, she heard rumors that the older mare in the herd had the audacity to claim Paradise from Rougaru, like she had the right to rule. Who does that? A coward. She couldn't just challenge him like a normal horse who wanted to earn the throne? Foolish. Monster rolled her eyes in irritation again. Oh, but back to the task at hand. Tossing her head, she sighed and threw her head, sending out a call for Zjeena. Hopefully the mare would be close enough to hear her.
