She may not be perfectly happy here because of the heat but she was happy with her decision. Cain was a strong stallion and she was proud to stand beside him and help him adapt to the wild life. She feared very little and knew how to defend herself. Some may ask her why not become nocturnal, well as much as she loved the cold her fur was not that thick because of the heat during the day. The cold in the desert was nearly as intolerable as the heat during the day. She was most active at dusk and dawn as those seem tobe perfect.
