He couldn't stop thinking about his daughter being in that awful place ever since Solaris told him. How could she leave Galexia in the Lagoon with a stranger? And then to tell him that she didn't trust the other stallion, that he had a temper? The buckskin would probably go gray by the end of this from the stress. He didn't even care about his own homeless situation at this point. Did he stay in the Inlet? Where did he go? He didn't know where he belonged. Before, he would have said with Solaris and Galexia, wherever his family was, but Solaris had picked her other stallion over him. He cared about Solaris and always would, but did she have to drag Galexia into that situation, too? He didn't want his daughter in a bachelor herd. That wasn't a place for her. He wanted his family with him.

When he heard the call, his head snapped up, snorting as he looked around. When he saw his daughter, his eyes widened in shock before he let out a joyous nicker and ran to meet her. His head was high and his tail waved like a banner as he raced to meet her halfway. She was getting so big! His little Galexia was becoming a beautiful mare and he couldn't get over it. "Galexia, sweetheart." He murmured as he took her under his neck in an embrace. His nostrils flared, inhaling her sweet scent though anger flared to life again when he smelled the faint aroma of another stallion. That had to be Raider, but he couldn't help but picture other stallions around his daughter. The yearling broke his heart as she started telling him to save her from the Lagoon, that she wanted to be with him.

"I want you to be with me, too, darling." He admitted, his eyes closing as he held onto Galexia as if holding on for dear life. He hated feeling this helpless with his own daughter. He wanted her to be happy and safe. Was that too much to ask? Suddenly his daughter pulled back with a gasp though and looked around, as if searching for something or someone. "Galexia, what is it?" He asked, his ears flicking back and forth in curiosity. Then he noticed the other filly and his heart skipped a beat. He knew who she was, who she had to be. She looked like Solaris with her dark brown spots. It made it harder for him. Solaris told him she didn't know who the father was. Looking at the tiny filly, Angel didn't know either. He sighed, taking a deep breath as his ears pricked toward the filly.

Galexia introduced her as her sister and he smiled, nodding in ackowledgement before looking again at the little bay paint. "Hello there, what's your name?" He lowered his head, keeping his body language neutral as he took a small step toward the filly. She was adorable really. She looked so much like Solaris. The filly mouthed at him and his expression softened. "It's okay, little one. I wouldn't harm a hair on your head. You're safe with me, I promise. My name's Angel." He watched as the filly then yawned and laid down. Turning to Galexia, he scowled. "That was a big journey to take your little sister on, Galexia. Where's Solaris? Does she know where you are?" His brow lifted, somehow getting the bad feeling that he already knew the answer to that. He wanted to see Galexia more than anything and he wanted her out of that place, but not at the risk to her little sister.
