Kalona had watched the figure of his mother and brother leave the dunes. Bahadir was off at the war and he was left to watch the herd. The young two year old didn't really know where the rest of the herd was, he had been babysitting his brother for his mother. But from what he gathered Bahadir had failed to protect his mother and the stallion that had come with her to the dunes to pick Sauron up was the one who won. He watched them leave and he paced the beach for a long time thinking. If Bahadir couldn't, maybe Bjorn could get her back?
He plunged into the ocean and swam in the hopes it was toward the ridge. He comes ashore about an hour later and shakes himself out. The buckskin two year old looks around him and snorts. He sends out a call for Bjorn. It was time to see if this stallion had any care for his mother and brother. He had no clue if he would care enough to find her and bring her home. Replies:
