Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Return to Lunar Children

i have found so much beauty in the dark..

Luckily the elder wolf was agreeable and went with her suggestion to hurry along and seek shelter. He couldnít quite keep up with her pace so she would pause every now and then and look back to him while simultaneously keeping track of where she was within the crags. She knew that there was a small den somewhere near here, it had been in use when last she was here, but hopefully itís been vacated since then.

The wind whipped harder in all directions as they trekked along the rocky terrain. The sound of heavy rain climbs up the crags at a rapid pace behind them as lightning and thunder cracks just beyond. This feeling, of primal fear, it tells her that something bad is coming. She knows that the older male must feel it too, but he seems content in knowing that he has someone to seek shelter with.

She rounds a narrow corner andÖ there. The den sits cradled between two large boulders, its entrance small and difficult to access for larger predators. She veers toward it as wind lashes at her, pushing her body to and fro. Merlot hued eyes scan behind her for the small, golden male before ducking into the den without a second thought. She hadnít taken a moment to inspect the outside and only hopes that it would be empty as she crawls through the narrow opening and into the larger common area. Her breaths are rapid as she settles from the adrenaline of the situation. Thereís no sight or smell of anyone in the den presently and what scent remains here has been stagnant for some time. They got lucky. I have found horrors in the light
