it's where my demons hide;
Kalayani knew that she was kinda wearing on her mothers nerves because of how clingy she was and part of her hated that but, for the longest time it had just been the two of them. She had grown so use to just having her mother as a companion. Then they came here and she met her brother Tarek and his family ti was a cute little family and she had been quiet happy to get to know them all. But she knew she had to some day grow her own wings and depart the nest. She had ventured out alone for a little and met up with a younger stallion nearly still a colt and well now she was pregnant.
They hadn't spent much time just enough to cover her and then she had gone home to tell her mother. Now she had told her mother she was gonna leave and see about finding her place. Though this was going to be a much scarrier journey for her because this time she was not going back to the forest.
She leaped into the surf after bidding her family goodbye. She would visit. She swims to the mainland shaking herself out as she pulls herself a shore and she wonders down to the commons. She gazes around before going to graze. Her ears constantly flicking and at the smallest of noises her head shoots up.
