Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He saw the announcement about Eden stepping down but didn't know if his father had heard about it yet. They had talked about the rumors flying around the pack but Triton only recently found out it was true. He didn't mind. He didn't really know Elohim but he was sure there was plenty of time for that to happen. Eden was aging and it was probably best for him to step back and watch a new generation take over and lead the ocean pack. Triton looked forward to what that meant for the future. Maybe he could seek out Elohim and see about vying for a rank in the pack. He hadn't been as active as he used to be but he wanted to change that. He felt like he'd let down the pack and his family because his head was in a jumble after he met Magpie then she disappeared. He tried searching all over Moladian for her but couldn't find a trace then he felt the severing of their imprint bond and for a moment, he thought he was dying.

He tried to explain the feeling to his father but Thor had never had that happen so he couldn't understand. His father had found his imprint in a sweet female, Talien, who lived in Taviora and came to visit him periodically and she was still around. Triton was confused and hurt and wondered if he would ever truly feel whole again. Would he find another imprint or was that it for him? Was he cursed to never feel that connection with anyone else ever again? He thought something was wrong with him and when he told Thor he was going to search outside of Moladian, he could see the sadness in his father's eyes and it was the only thing that kept him from fulfilling that thought. It was like the day his mother left all over again and he couldn't do that to Thor. He would stay in Moladian and learn to move on, for his own sake and his father's. Thor needed him.

Triton trudged along the shores of Glorall, kicking shells at glancing around, wondering if there'd be any other wolves out today. It was a pretty day but the sun was hot on his fur. Drinking water had been more scarce to find within the pack lands so sometimes he and Thor had to travel outside of the pack to find good water but they knew with the changing seasons, that would pass. He paused for a moment to investigate a hole in the sand. It looked like it had been dug by someone, the claw marks plain as day around the edges, but he couldn't tell how fresh it was.
