Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Return to Lunar Children

ghosts of the past

Life was getting boring again and she was on the move. Wolves kept coming and going in her life and she wasn't a fan at all. Aeon was her best friend and then he disappeared. Myrria was her sister and her best friend then she left. Her mother was still there for her but she seemed distracted all the time, as did her father most of the time now. It was like he expected the boogyman at any moment. He kept trying to make her stay at the den, stop going out so much but she was an adult now and she needed to put some distance between herself and her parents, no matter how much she loved them. She thought about joining a pack but that was a big move and she kept chickening out. She was raised in the free lands. How could she go from that to being a pack wolf? She breathed out a sigh and shook her head. She'd think on that later.

She had made her own den in the crags a few years ago so she lived on her own but she visited her parents often. They were pretty much her only friends so why not? She leapt from rock to rock, checking the cracks and crevices for something fun. She remembered as a pup looking for buried treasure with her imaginary friend. If only she had one of those now. Maybe she wouldn't feel so lonely. She wondered what Sidon was up to. She missed him terribly. When she heard a voice, she paused, her head lifting and her ears swiveling curiously. Was that her name she heard? No, it couldn't be. Who would know her name out here? She must be hearing things. She continued moving, but stopped again when she heard it yet again, closer this time. And she for sure heard her name that time!

Stopping again, she pricked her ears in the direction of the voice and twitched her nose. The scent was distinctly male but not known to her. Why would he know her name? Then he said another name she knew. Ghost! He said she sent him! But why? Ghost was her best friend so why would she send someone else? Especially when she wanted to keep their friendship so secretive. Confused, her ears flicked back and forth but she waited as the scent got stronger. When the male came into view, she offered a hesitant wag of her tail but her eyes scrutinized him carefully. "Who are you? And how do you know Ghost?"
