Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

He had come across the faint scent of his sister but didn't know what to think of it. If she was back, why wouldn't she have sought him out? He missed her terribly and since Inanna was gone, he felt the loneliness only more strongly. Now he only had Triton to keep him company and he didn't want his son to find him dependent so he let him go on his way more often than not, which left Thor all alone. It was an old feeling and yet he felt he might never really get used to it. He would never mate again and he'd had so many more plans for his and his mate's future. It felt almost like he'd been cheated, but he couldn't be angry at anyone. He couldn't blame her. She had an adventurous soul and always had. He knew what he was getting into when he asked to be with her the rest of her life. He just never thought she'd leave him so soon.

He looked up from his thoughts when he saw the white wolf coming toward him. The male seemed vaguely familiar and his scent was heavily imbued with that of none other than Thor's own sister. His nose twitched, ears pricking as he straightened up and watched the male come closer with a curious air. When the male asked if he was Thor, he nodded his head. "I am." He gave as confirmation, his gaze sweeping over the male before him. The wolf then gave his name as Israfel and said he was Samia's imprint. There was more but the male let his words trail off and Thor raised his brow in question. What else was there? Even just being her imprint was a deep confession. Thor knew what it meant, how they felt about each other. He would know because he still felt the yearning in his own soul for Talien, even if they were never be more than friends.

The male changed the subject though, saying she was off doing other things and that he thought she was a bit worried about finding him. That in itself had Thor tilting his head thoughtfully. "Why would she be worried? I would welcome her with open arms. She's my sister. I'm only glad to have her back." Maybe Israfel could tell her as much if she didn't want to come see him herself. Finally, he sighed and lowered his head some. Well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Israfel." At least he could still be polite.
