"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Aim for the Top

Ryder.
aim for the top

He should have known better than to think it would be easy once he found the sisters. He should have known it wouldn't be as easy as saying "Hey, found your mother and she wants to find you so can you go meet her?" All he wanted was to see a smile on her wise features, but it seemed there was much more work to do. Not that he minded, of course. In a way, Ryder was actually eager to get started on the next set of plans now that he'd found one of the daughters. Now, he only had to find one more. He felt accomplished already.

He could tell the minute he asked if she was Eve or Iris, the mare wasn't easily trusting. He thought he smelled fear on her just from that simple question and his ears flicked back, eyes softening in concern. What must she have been through to stress out because someone knew her name? She shook her head and he tentatively pricked his ears in question, his brows furrowed. It seemed like the mare was going through some inner turmoil and he had no idea how to make her see that his intentions were pure. He shifted from one hoof to the other, trying to be patient until she made up her mind. He had hoped saying her mother's name would make her see that it was okay but instead it was like she only got more upset when he mentioned Lillika.

She did finally answer him, saying she was Iris and he let out a breath of relief, hope flooding through him once more. She confirmed that Lillika was her mother, and he smiled when she called her Lilly. It suited the older mare. When she said she couldn't go back, his smile dropped and a worried scowl replaced it, but he only lowered his head to try to meet her gaze in understanding. "Okay. If you can't come see her, would you mind if I tell her where to find you?" He hoped that would be an okay compromise. He did hate the idea of Lillika making the swim, but he knew she would do it in a heartbeat to see her daughter. She said she was glad to hear about her mother and hoped she was doing well. He nodded.

"I believe she is well, just missing her family. Do you know where I can find Eve?" He wondered if it would upset her again to ask, but he had to try. If she was so suspicious when he asked her name, she might just tell him to go to hell rather than give up her sister's location. But maybe she could see he wasn't so bad if he wasn't going to push her to go to her mother. Maybe he could gain her trust...somehow.
