Re(8): Who, ME? You talkin ta ME?

Seriously, I Heart's got it covered... Sunny radio, specifically, and KLOU. Much better music than 94.9 which is all dance hall music of the same tempo. Plus internet radio isn't limited so there's something besides commercial mass appeal which pleases no one. People are stuck listening to what's offered, right? And for Phil, if he's still alive, ALL the 50s stuff not just the fifty he played on weekends. They're not all dead yet and Internet will please them even if OTA can't!

As to Texas, well the only time I hear about it is from you. You're the only one trying to be hurtful and that doesn't say much about you, does it? We all screw up once in a while to some degree, and it seems millions of Americans don't even give a shit. Who the f are you to define me, after your antics?

I'm not ostracized by my friends, just the jackoffs. And since you read this room so much, you know that there are plenty of them in KC radio--so many that they've given radio people a bad name by their own hatefulness. You'd be one who should have set an example, but a you readily have demonstrated you character isn't exemplary, and you don't even respect radio people enough to share with the younger pups what you know. Plus you're not even IN radio, you've just been a sales customer.

Face it, unlike TV, radio (except for the BBC) has only been on the periphery of entertainment, service, and culture in the western world. It doesn't even measure a blip in the ad world. Why are you sore at me for pointing out the obvious that most knowing people know?

And who but you and boomers who are my age even care what oldies are played? I'm sure those artists left of the boomer vanguard years can still fill a venue. And last, a lot of radio people in here have been far more critical, even as recently as last week! Ain't anonymity grand?
