Governments I love the suggestions Reba has put forward – they seem like fitting perks that players may receive upon achieving one of the Government styles of an island.
Allies in Dice-Roll Battles I agree with Pippa and Reba that this perk could be an option for a contest prize.
Chance Board I like this idea, but it might just be my slow headcold-affected brain, but I can’t think of many things this could affect right now. I know Reba suggested twin, so, possibly have breeding chance rolls (but aside from twin roll, I can’t think of much else, breeding related?). I’d need a bit more clarity on this/ some sort of guide to things players can roll for chances at, and would like to know whether there would be limits (ie: would I be able to roll for a character to win another character/skipping the battle or raid process? Would I be able to roll for a chance at escape, instead of writing an escape thread, etc.)
Steals Much as I did love steals back then, I do think it is very hard to remove ambiguity and subjectivity from the concept. I also feel like this is something that works better when there’s a lot of activity, so I do like the idea of anonymous escapes though, that Reba suggested.
Duplicate Names I would LOVE for us to be able to reuse names that have already been used a long time ago. I’d suggest for the new bearer of a pre-used name to maybe be marked (with an asterisk or something) to distinguish them (and any possible offspring) from the ‘original’ bearer of the name.
