She didn't see the black stallion that hid in the shadows until it was too late. It was only when she felt his blunt teeth on her spine like iron to fire that the pale mare slid to a stop. She quickly turns on her haunches, her muzzle snaking forward and her teeth clicking together in a warning snap. Her blue eyes narrow onto his silhouette bathed in pale moonlight. "What the hell do you think you're doing?" She bites out at him. He extends his muzzle to exchange breaths but she bares her teeth in warning. She hopes he'll take the hint and move along.

She curses herself for not being more vigilant. She should've avoided the Commons all together. Everyone knew what the Commons were for. And she'd fallen right into the dark stallions trap. She contemplates if she could outrun him. Her 'teke bloodlines provided her a lithe form but her Paint coloring was the equivalent of a glow stick in the darkness. Her ears lace into her tangled mane anyways as she takes a tentative step backwards. Surely he wouldn't just let her go since he'd invaded her space anyways. "Well, what do you have to say for yourself? Brute." She huffed angrily.

Nesta doubted he knew what he was in for. She takes another step backwards trying to slowly create distance away from him. Perhaps if she could just clear the broken limbs around her, she could get a lead on him and make her escape. But she doesn't notice the other equine until it's almost too late and they almost collide under the mid summer moon.
