Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into beasts (Psychedelic)

He had watched. He had waited. He had learned.

As the colors of the Lagoon changed for the coming season, so too did the sway of the Lagoon’s support. Tyr was not surprised. Rade’s vision for the brotherhood had been a bright one, but it had died with the old man. The attempt Tyr had made was doomed from the very beginning. The stallion’s dark nature he had tried to tuck away always a looming shadow. It was only when he would look to his son’s face, how bright Vadim was, that would make Tyr press on. To keep trying. In the end, his effort was made in vain. The Islands would remain stubborn to their views of the Lagoon.

Now that he was free of the burden of being Boss, should he stay?

Tyr had asked himself that countless times, but he never had an answer. For now, he supposed, Tyr did not have to give one. Vadim was grown, and there were no ties in the Lagoon anymore to keep him chained in their darkness. For the first time since coming to the Islands, Tyr was free of the Lagoon’s clutches. Free to make his own choices without the consequences hanging over his head.

Tyr could do whatever the fuck he wanted.

Rather than feeling anger at the outcome, the giant stallion found a smirk tugging at his lips. The weight that had been resting so heavily on his shoulders now gone. Politics, opinions, favors; it had never been his forte. The chaos that the snake woman drew out in him the moment he laid eyes on her; that was his true specialty. So, chaos it would be.

With the years spent in the Lagoon’s clutches, Tyr did not have to try very hard to keep a low profile. Avoiding the sucking mud, or the rattling leaves from the low hanging branches, the golden stallion moved quietly. Only when his eyes landed upon the pale stature of the new boss; a slender, shorter stallion as most were to Tyr, did the brute break free of the shadows he prowled in with a powerful lunge. Teeth bared, ears buried beneath the masses of tangled mane, Tyr sought to slam his shoulder into the ribcage of the stallion with his surprise attack, while his blunt teeth hoped to latch onto the flesh of Psychedelic’s neck.

They would think of Tyr as complacent no more.
