Not "poor Pat" excuse at all. Just not falling for the "knee-jerk/hate Pat" statement. You might be surprised at the inner workings down there. If he would have done it at that time, they would have made sure he couldn't run because I'm sure his intentions were suspected to be known. Jimmy doesn't want competition from within (Tebbens was useless as the Political Action Director, so don't expect anything better). Since it's now part of his "campaign literature", the IAFF would throw any charges out because it would appear to be retaliatory for running against Tracy. It brought to light the bull#### that's been fed out there, and some might not like the timing, but it truly is brilliant.
