Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

turn men into monsters Miriella

(This thread is set after Vadim claimed Miriella, but before Enya won the battle against the Lagoon for Vadim)

As Vadim drove the beautiful mare back to the Lagoon, his eyes roamed every movement of muscle and flick of pale hair, while she wasn’t looking. She wasn’t only looks though. The defiance she had shown at first meant she was filled with equal amounts of fire. Even if this encounter was only by chance, and hormones, the young stallion was pleased with the outcome. She would certainly give him something to distract himself with than worrying over his missing brothers, absent father, and unworthy boss. Maybe they could even come to like each other, if she didn’t kill him first.

Vadim was sure that for a time, he would have to sleep with one eye open.

Once they had reached deeper into the territory, where he was sure no one else from the Commons might follow, Vadim stopped driving her. Pulling up from his steady trot, the stallion stopped and brought his ears up, but did not take his eyes off of the mare. Was he supposed to apologize now, for being so rude in the Commons? Should he offer his name as an olive branch? He was unsure of what he was supposed to do now, so taking a deep breath, Vadim prepared to give his name. Only, that wasn’t what came out of his mouth.

“You’re quite a gorgeous thing. I couldn’t help but admire the view all the way home.” he said, mimicking his father’s deeper growlish voice. “What should I call you?” Vadim added, hoping it didn’t earn him a hoof to the face. But he’d be lying if he didn’t think a little scuffle with the beautiful mare wouldn’t be hot.
