PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

kiss you with an uppercut

You’re coming to the Badlands with me.

Filumena’s eyes widened as her lips parted, ready to ask what he meant by that but she was so taken aback by his confidence as he continued talking and smiling at her that no sound came out. The young mare just gaped at him, every ache spreading under her skin, which felt particularly itchy and uncomfortable. She lashed her red tail at her spotted hind, fixing him with an unamused look.

I’ve been looking for you since that day we met. He offered, stretching his neck toward her. Filumena turned her ears back and pulled her head out of his reach, but only just. Subconsciously she teased him with her closeness, putting on a show of bigger irritation toward him than she was actually feeling.

You said you would come to the Badlands with us. She had promised him that, but when Oswald got ahold of her, Filumena hadn’t left after all. The unknown sister still loomed in the distance, but as Filumena grew older and her mother grew from the loving, fun, attending parent she had been when Filumena was born and into a distant, quiet, sad thing that wanted to loom atop the Peak, she began to question why her older sister never came to see her. Bitterness replaced her excitement to potentially meet her. Her or Maia, who supposedly lived in the Cove.

A sigh collected in her mouth and huffed out in a heavy breath as she blinked her long, red lashes and looked at Raegar again. She supposed that somewhere she was… touched… that he had continued to think of her after that day. But, still, as he emphasized that she would love the Badlands, Filumena only shook her head and finally spoke up. “I think you’re confused, Raegar,” her tone was dry at first, but the more she talked the more irritated she got and the more heated her voice grew, “I’m not going to live in the Badlands. I’m not going to live on Atlantis. The Peak is my home. If I visit the Badlands, well, I do it on my own time.” She let her weight rest back on her front hoof - it ached, but it wasn’t unbearable - so that she could stand taller. Her largeness she supposedly got from her father, not that she’d ever known him. “And I will leave whenever I want.”

Pride flashed in her eyes. She flicked her tail against her haunches. “I’m kept by no one but myself, no matter how good they fight.”
