Don’t they have Kiss FM out there? Kind of disappointing they didn’t move the X branding back to its heritage spot on 107.3 like it was in the 90’s, and shifted The X back to a gold based Alternative like their sister station 99X in Atlanta. They could really stand out by expanding the playlists instead of playing the same songs Alt 96.5 does. What screwed that station is it tried to sound like KQRC with dated hair bands along side hard rock acts. Nobody could get that. Most people that listen to 98.9 will never jump ship. So they should’ve just did what the Lazer did in the 90’s. Play everything Alternative and mix in new and Classic Alternative hits. Such a missed opportunity to give the listeners an Alternative from Alt 96.5. Replies:
