When the darkness comes….

Dark colored ears twisted back into long strands of black mane. A scarred up muzzle held wrinkles speaking of anger from a large mare that had two hooves off of the ground. Siren had reared up to her full height, her fire eyes locked on a dangerous predator that she had heard trailing her to where she had chosen to graze. She had Eeva and Dovahkiin to protect let alone others of this territory and she did not want this thing reproducing with hopefully some foals in spring let alone anything else that could be coming with the new year headed her way. She herself was pregnant and did not wish to lose a foal to this giant lizard.

Giving a scream, Siren slammed her full body weight down with her chipped and round hooves bludgeoning this creature's back. She had to watch its mouth because she had a gut feeling it would cause more pain than it was worth. Back home the normal garden lizards were normal, but this thing was huge. Considering how large she was as a breed, she guessed that this lizard was her breed to their species. Rearing multiple times with her hooves slamming into the lizard, Siren’s grunting breath could be heard through the jungle as she did her best to take this dangerous creature out of her herd for good.

Time passed, the grunting from before falling silent and instead exchanged for panting breaths. Blood coated the ground and a lizard looked more like a pancake than an actual animal as the large gray mare moved from where she had been with her coat faintly dripping. It was easy to tell that she wore the crimson liquid with pride, but her heart continued to race in her chest as she made sure that Dovahkiin and Eeva were nowhere near this monstrosity. They did not need to tamper with the carcass and she hoped they would stay clear for a while until the buzzards could come and finish up the cleaning job.

Shaking out her body, Siren headed to the coastline where her body slowly moved through the waves at the entrance to the ocean. She liked the feeling of water up to her ankles and found herself patrolling her home with the water almost washing away the glorious battle with the lizard, which she was thankful for. It was with the waves though that her blood turned cold and her ears pinned. There was a stallion here in her home and he had not washed up in Sanctuary, so all games were available for her to play. Arching her neck and raising her tail, Siren stopped forward movement and gave a loud blow of air from her nostrils. She looked ready to charge this new horse with how her body postured, but she wanted as the ocean's water pulled and pushed against her legs.
