If you happen to read what the provisions of the Ethic Ordinance that were stated in the letter, it's right on. You can debate it, fight it, but at the end of the day, it's correct. The problem is, it's never been enforced. You have a new Mayor, and he's going to run the show as he sees fit. Not too long ago, we had last day "parties" at the firehouse and the on-duty companies went on the air "for bottles". That wasn't air bottles either. None of the recipients should show, just take the cash and distribute it in a much more subdued manner. Sorry, they have you over the barrel on this one. Replies:
