No, Milford did not use Owemeonecannoli. But they did include cannoli for that Italian Night.

That was my own play on words. But it turns out, not all that original, since I am seeing 46,000 Google hits, including an album of that name from the year 2000 that you can buy on Amazon.

However, seems like there's always a hitch, and in this case in Italian, cannoli is plural. So you would have to reason that in American usage you can use it as singular and cannolis as plural. Despite the language snobs who might correct you.

So the final question - would Italian-Americans go into a bakery and ask for 'a cannolo'?
